The Office of Technology Services (OTS) was established as a means of recognizing cost savings through the consolidation of State IT assets and resources. The creation of OTS consolidated a wide variety of existing hardware platforms, operating systems, database management systems, networks, third-party software, and custom applications.
OTS leads the State s technology procurement process to standardize technology over the entire organization, seek efficiencies of operations, maintenance, and scalability of new products introduced to the OTS suite of services, which can eventually be offered to all in-scope agencies.
Duties/Responsibilities
Define and document business functions and processes.
Document standard operating procedures, user manuals, and training material, as needed.
Schedule, coordinate, and assist with meeting.
Analyze and document the integration of business functions with technology.
Assist with business case development and business process reengineering.
Consult with management and personnel to identify, define, and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, and input/output requirements.
Recommend new processes that yield operational efficiencies.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses.
Develop or assist with project work plans and project timelines.
Develop technical specifications and work requirements.
Education and Certification
Bachelor s degree in computer science, or equivalent industry experience, or related field
Required Experience
Over 3 years of experience in document management or information governance.
More than 3 years of experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
Preferred Experience
2+ years experience working with DPS processes and document workflows
Experience analyzing IBM Content Manager systems
Experience working with Kofax systems

Experience in analysis of electronic document management system migrations
Experience in analysis of applications in a digital environment
Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making and process improvements
