***Office Centric 4 days a week in the office*** Atlanta preferred, open to Charlotte and Raleigh as well.
Responsible for developing and maintaining the technical IT / cyber security capabilities necessary for safeguarding the firm's information systems and applications (software development lifecycle), including every phase of the SDLC and software stack. Design, plan, test and implement phases of cybersecurity technology projects.

- From a proxy perspective, develop and maintain the technical IT/cyber capabilities including all phases of the software development lifecycle and software stack which includes threat modeling of application designs, static application security testing (SAST), software composition analysis (SCA), dynamic application security testing (DAST), and penetration testing.
- Lead efforts related to designing, planning, enhancing, and testing proxy cybersecurity technologies used throughout the enterprise including base-lining current systems, trend analysis, and capacity planning as required for future systems requirements and new technologies.
- Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan the use of new proxy related information security technologies, or modifications to existing equipment and systems that will provide capability for proposed project or workload, efficient operation and effective use of allotted resources.
- Lead the implementation of new proxy related information security technologies or integration of existing technologies including initial configuration, installation, change management, and operational handoff.
- Use sophisticated analytical thought through models, testing, and experience to exercise judgment and identify innovative proxy solutions.
- Responsible for technical support of proxy related information security technologies providing expert problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner.
- Leads teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity.
- Provides training, knowledge and support to junior members of the proxy team.
- Backs up the manager of the proxy team as delegated for documentation, attestations and system approvals, and functions in the role of team lead as needed.
Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree and eight years of experience in systems engineering or administration or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Deep specialized and/or broad functional knowledge in applied enterprise information security technologies including but not limited to firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, network operating systems, identity management, database activity monitoring, encryption, content filtering, and Mainframe security.
- Previous experience in leading complex IT projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or MBA and ten years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Banking or financial services experience.
- CISSP Certification.
- Other security certifications (e.g. CCNA Security, GSEC, GCED, GPPA, etc.).
- Other technical Certifications (e.g. CCNA, RHCE, MCSE, etc.).
- Entra ID Administration, Engineering or Deployment history.
- Service Now knowledge or history of use.
- Proxy engineering or deployment experience.
- Zscaler engineering or deployment experience.
- Cybersecurity, Firewall and Network Engineering concepts and controls.
- Splunk experience writing queries and analyzing log data.
- Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Experience with and ability to participate effectively as part of a team while providing mentorship and training to junior members of the team.
- Knowledge of successful approaches, tools, and techniques for dealing with changes and adapting to a changing environment.
- Ability and willingness to seek out work and the drive to accomplish goals.
- Understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
- Knowledge of effective self-management practices and ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
- Knowledge or history of use of SCIM/SAML/SSO technologies.
- Broadcom Rally experience.
