Job Description:

  • The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer plays a critical role in validating the functionality, performance, security, and accessibility of applications and components developed for the DMA Next Generation Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform.
  • The QA Engineer is responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and supporting the delivery of high-quality, compliant software aligned with government requirements and DoD cybersecurity standards.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for AEM components, APIs, and platform features.
  • Perform manual and automated testing across various environments to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug tracking tools and work closely with development teams for resolution.
  • Validate compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
  • Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies, reviews, and QA planning activities to align testing with development cycles.
  • Support performance, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) as part of release cycles.
  • Maintain test documentation, automation scripts, and quality dashboards to ensure traceability and audit readiness.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing, preferably in web or enterprise CMS environments
  • Hands-on experience with QA tools such as Selenium, Postman, JIRA, or TestRail
  • Familiarity with Adobe AEM or similar content management systems
  • Understanding of Agile development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation frameworks
  • Knowledge of accessibility (Section 508/WCAG) and cybersecurity compliance standards
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills
  • Experience with DoD or federal contracts is a plus
