Job Description
As a Software Engineer I, you will play an important role in supporting and maintaining our cloud-based enterprise Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), which is used to manage the generation, analysis, quality control, and interpretation of clinical data produced by diagnostic NGS assays. You will assist with system configuration, reporting, and development tasks under the guidance of more senior engineers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional technical and scientific stakeholders to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of enterprise applications that support laboratory workflows. In addition, you will act as the first point of contact for production system issues reported by end users, helping to triage, troubleshoot, and resolve problems-or escalate them to the appropriate teams when needed.
The ideal candidate will have prior administrative experience with enterprise systems and relational databases, excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, and a strong desire to grow their technical expertise while supporting critical business operations.
This is a salaried position, with occasional weekend work to satisfy project timelines and end-user support. This position can work 100% remote and may require up to 10% travel. Candidates must be located in the US and available during Eastern and Central business hours.
