Job Summary for Citrix Architect
- Design, architect, and administer Citrix environments, including XenServer, in production settings.
- Oversee and support Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure (AD, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, WSUS, etc.).
- Provide comprehensive technical support across Tier 1 to Tier 4 levels.
- Utilize structured problem-solving techniques and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot critical system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions.
- Monitor and maintain Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platforms using tools such as Netscaler and ControlUP.
- Create, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Citrix administration and support.
- Use Citrix command line tools for advanced troubleshooting and management tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, security, and optimal performance.
- Participate in an on-call rotation or provide after-hours support as required.
- Remain current with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to Citrix and Microsoft Windows environments.
- Work 100% remotely, adhering to EST business hours, and reside within the continental US.
