Position: HRIS Automation Engineer - 100% Remote



We're hiring an HRIS Automation Engineer to support a Private Equity firm managing a portfolio of 80+ high-growth SaaS companies. This role focuses on building scalable automation and AI-driven solutions across HR systems to streamline operations and enhance workforce intelligence.


Key Responsibilities



  • Automation & AI Integration

  • Design and deploy RPA workflows and AI agents (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism, Workato, Power Automate) to automate HR and business processes.

  • Integrate AI capabilities into HRIS platforms to improve data accuracy, reduce manual effort, and enhance decision-making.

  • System Optimization & Integration

  • Build and maintain integrations across HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, iCIMS, Peoplesoft, BambooHR, UKG) and third-party tools.

  • Standardize and scale automation templates across portfolio companies.

  • Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate directly with HR, IT, and executive stakeholders to gather requirements, present solutions, and drive adoption.

  • Deliver polished presentations and documentation to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
    Qualifications

    • 4+ years in HRIS or enterprise systems automation, preferably in SaaS or PE-backed environments.

    • Hands-on experience with RPA tools and AI agents (e.g., UiPath, Microsoft Copilot, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism, Workato, Power Automate).

    • Strong understanding of HR data, APIs, and integration frameworks.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a consultative approach.
