Job Description:

Duties:
  • Experience in gathering business, functional, and technical requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, and document analysis.
  • Provide support by bridging communication between vendors, client ministries, and corpoXX technical and business teams.
  • Proficient in creating clear and comprehensive requirements documentation, such as business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.
  • Experience in functional testing, including system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing.
  • Ability to document and track defects, ensuring they are resolved before product delivery.
  • Risk mitigation skills and ability to identify project risks, analyze their impact, and develop mitigation plans to address potential issues before they arise.
  • Familiarity with change management software or platforms like ServiceNow to manage incidents, problems, and changes within IT systems.
  • Ability to work closely with development teams and understand technical aspects of software projects.
  • Ensure appropriate project communication occurs to all parties involved during all phases of the project.
  • Prepare regular project status reports indicating project deliverables, possible risk and issues, timelines and anticipated effort.
  • Escalate unresolved issues/risks, options and recommendations.
  • Prepare, update and manage documents defining the business requirements, software requirements, functional design, and project plans and schedules reflecting achievable deliverables for the applications.
  • Additional responsibilities as required by the Project Candidateager for a Business Analyst or Lead Technical Analyst role

Must Have:
  • The proposed candidate must meet or exceed one of the following: University graduation in business, management or a related discipline and 2-yr Business Analyst (BA) experience; OR 2-yr diploma in business, management or a related discipline and 4-yr BA experience; OR 1-yr certificate in business, management or a related discipline and 5-yr BA experience; OR 6-yr BA experience. Yes/No
  • Experience as a business analyst translating business requirements into detailed technical requirements in an enterprise IT environment. 6 years
  • Experience in developing integXXd system and technical design specifications on complex engagements. 3 years
  • Experience in facilitating and managing business process development and process re-engineering workshops and sessions. 5 years
  • Experience in gathering requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders across ministries or departments. 3 years
  • Experience with written and verbal communications including specific experience in drafting strategic business and technical documentation. 5 years
Nice to Have
  • Experience in facilitating meetings and communicating with senior management and project stakeholders. 5 years.
  • Experience in the development of project documents for a wide variety of initiatives and projects (strategic, business improvement, information technology, etc.). 5 years
  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing processes on large, complex, multi-stakeholder environments. 5 years
  • Experience working in or for the public sector. 2 years
  • Experience working on projects with changing priorities, timelines, or requirements. 4 years.
