Job Description:
We're seeking a detail-oriented Data Specialist with hands-on experience in Epic Cogito and Clarity. This role supports a key initiative to assess and evolve dashboard infrastructure in response to Epic build changes. You'll work closely with analysts, developers, and project managers to track build records, evaluate dashboard impacts, and support implementation of updated Epic Radar dashboards.

Job Description:
We're seeking a detail-oriented Data Specialist with hands-on experience in Epic Cogito and Clarity. This role supports a key initiative to assess and evolve dashboard infrastructure in response to Epic build changes. You'll work closely with analysts, developers, and project managers to track build records, evaluate dashboard impacts, and support implementation of updated Epic Radar dashboards.
Responsibilities
- Track and document Epic build records
- Collaborate with analysts to assess impact on existing dashboards
- Support implementation and updates of Epic Radar dashboards
- Compare current vs. future state data models and systems
- Present impact assessments and remediation plans to leadership
Deliver key documentation:
- Business process maps
- Functional requirements
- Data lineage and architecture decisions
- Traceability matrices for leadership decisions
- Translate business needs into scalable data collection and management processes
- Coordinate with business, IT, and data teams to ensure smooth transitions
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years in data warehousing and data modeling (relational & dimensional)
- 8+ years integrating data at logical and physical levels
- Experience with multiple DBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Teradata, etc.)
Strong understanding of:
- Data governance, metadata, and data lineage
- Data architecture and modeling principles
Proficiency in:
- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Data modeling tools (Erwin, Toad, etc.)
- Excellent communication, change management, and project coordination skills
- Epic Clarity data model certification
- Bachelor's degree in Health Science, CS, Math, Engineering, Business, or related field
Project Scope
- Identify Epic build records
- Collaborate with analysts to assess dashboard impact
- Implement or update Epic Radar dashboards based on build changes
