Systems Engineer
Key Role:
Analyze systems requirements, design and maintain test cases, requirements traceability matrix (RTMs), and test plans. Maintain a toolset that includes a variety of cybersecurity tools, such as network capture devices, in-line sensors, incident case management solutions, and other relevant cybersecurity technologies. Perform and coordinate working sessions to diagnose and troubleshoot the solutions in an Agency environment. Work with the Cybersecurity Operations and Vulnerability Management teams to monitor and improve overall cybersecurity solutions. Perform IT business analysis tasks, including gathering and deciphering requirements, and improving current test processes. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- Experience writing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) to enable CI/CD pipelines and leverage DevSecOps principles
- Experience with functional, regression, and systems integration testing
- Experience working with maintaining physical and virtual infrastructure hosted on-premises and within a multi-cloud environment, including VMWare ESXi, Windows, and Linux servers, security appliances, and custom applications
- Knowledge of various technologies, including Cribl, Splunk, Archer, Corelight, MediaWiki, RSA Netwitness, Microsoft Defender Security Suite, ServiceNow, Jira, and GitHub
- Ability to maintain custom code and technology solutions deployed on Oracle backend technologies
- Ability to write, maintain, and manage technical documents
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Security, or Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with the project management framework and IMS
- Experience with business process analysis and development
- Experience working with Lookout, Zimperium, or other Mobile Threat Detection (MTD) capabilities
- Knowledge of SharePoint, JIRA, and ServiceNow
- Possession of excellent team leadership and development, client relationship, problem-solving, and analytical reasoning skills
- CISSP, Security+, AWS Security Architect, or CEH Certifications
