EPIC Rover-Unified Communications Analyst

Unified Communications / Rover Technical Resource Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand communication & documentation requirements.
• Design and architect Unified Communications system based on organizational needs.
• Consider factors such as scalability, redundancy, and security in the system design.

• Facilitate the design of network to ensure quality of service for voice, video, and data traffic.

• Collaborate with other IT teams, such as network and security teams, to ensure a holistic approach to UC implementation.
• Participate in cross-functional teams for larger IT projects that involve communication systems.
• Work with the infrastructure team to ensure network elements to support the requirements of Unified Communication are configured appropriately.
• Work with various appropriate teams to ensure UC platforms such as VoIP, video conferencing, instant messaging, and collaboration tools.
• Configure and manage UC platforms to meet user and business needs.

• Collaborate with vendors for implementation.

• Ensure that the Unified Communication system complies with security policies and standards.
• Implement encryption and other security measures to protect sensitive communications.

• Work with the IT Education team to develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
• Create documentation for system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices.
