We are looking for a Private Cloud Technical Solutions Architect (TSA) to join the Modern Data Center Solutions Team within Global Solutions and Architecture (GS&A).

The Modern Data Center Solutions team is dedicated to the Go-To-Market development and execution of complex platform solutions encompassing compute, storage, networking, and virtualization and container platforms. What will you be doing?

The Technical Solutions Architect will be responsible for developing and executing a profitable Go-To-Market strategy around private cloud virtualization platforms in collaboration with Sales, Services, Partner Alliances, and Advanced Technology Center teams.

Responsibilities

The following are desired outcomes of the Private Cloud Technical Solutions Architect role:

• Grow WWT s Nutanix business by 15+% within first 12 months.
• Creation and delivery of briefings, workshops, and assessments to customers in coordination with WWT sales teams.
• Build messaging and presentation(s) to be delivered to partners, customers, and internal sales teams.
• Creation of technical labs and demos within the WWT Advanced Technology Center that align with the GTM messaging and customer demand.
• Creation and delivery of field enablement (training and education) for WWT sales and engineering teams to enable them to properly identify, size/scope, sell, and deliver opportunities and solutions.
• Creation of defined and scoped consulting and delivery services offerings in coordination with WWT and Partner professional services organizations.
• Creation of thought leadership content for WWT s digital platform (blogs, research articles, videos, podcasts, and presentations) in coordination with WWT and Partner marketing teams.
• Participation in partner planning meetings with relevant partner organizations.
• Participation in industry and partner conferences, workshops, and meetings as a thought leader and presenter.
• Innovative cross-practice solutions and offering with other teams within WWT.
• Travel of up to 50% for customer meetings, partner meetings, and industry events.

Qualifications

Technical Experience:

• At least three (3) years of experience Architecting Nutanix private cloud solutions, including:
  • Nutanix Certified Professional - Multicloud Infrastructure 6.5 certification, or the ability to achieve it within the first ninety (90) days of employment
  • Nutanix AOS & Distributed Storage Fabric
  • Nutanix Prism Element & Prism Central
  • Nutanix Foundation and Foundation Central
  • Nutanix AHV features and functions
  • Nutanix Move and migrations
  • Nutanix Networking and Network Security
  • Nutanix Unified Storage (NUS) products
  • Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2)
  • oNutanix sizer tool
• At least five (5) years of experience architecting VMware private cloud solutions, including:
  • VMware vSphere
  • VMware vSAN
  • VMware vCenter
  • VMware NSX-T
• Experience architecting and sizing general data center virtualization platforms for servers, storage, and network
• General knowledge with software-defined compute, storage, and networking
• General knowledge across multiple x86 compute platforms, including Cisco, Dell and HPE
• General knowledge on storage protocols & architecture
• General knowledge on server & virtual machine automation, orchestration, and configuration management tools
• General knowledge on BC/DR architecture and practices
