**Overview:**

Client is looking for a results-driven Gen AI Cloud & Data Sales Executive to spearhead our growth in Gen AI cloud infrastructure and data-centric services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS with exposure to Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Microsoft Azure, and a strong grasp of data and AI-led transformations. This role focuses on driving digital adoption among EdTech companies, publishers, K 12 institutions, universities, and enterprise learning departments through cloud-native and data-powered solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Own and drive sales of Gen AI Cloud and Data solutions across assigned accounts.

* Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account strategies to meet sales targets.

* Identify new opportunities in:

* Cloud-native application and infrastructure modernization

* Data platform modernization (data lakes, lakehouses, ETL/ELT workflows)

* Advanced analytics, business intelligence, and data visualization tools

* AI/ML adoption through scalable cloud data pipelines

* Compliance-ready data storage and disaster recovery solutions

* Cloud FinOps: performance tuning and cost optimization

* Cloud-focused staffing needs: Data Engineers, Cloud Architects, AI specialists

* Build trusted relationships with technology and business stakeholders (CTOs, CIOs, CDOs).

* Act as a strategic advisor-presenting how cloud + data can solve education-specific business problems.

* Deliver product demonstrations, data solution workshops, and joint business planning sessions.

* Lead the proposal and contract negotiation process, collaborating with pre-sales, legal, and delivery teams.

* Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and forecast using CRM tools.

* Stay current with evolving trends in data platforms, AI/ML, LLMs, privacy regulations, and Google Cloud Platform ecosystem advancements.

**Required Qualifications and Experience:**

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

* Demonstrated success selling to clients in EdTech, publishing, K 12/higher education, and/or enterprise L&D.

* 5 years of experience in cloud/data sales, preferably with a focus on AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

* AWS or Google Cloud Platform Sales certification is mandatory; Azure experience is a strong plus.

* Familiarity with tools like BigQuery, Vertex AI, Looker, Dataflow, and Dataproc.

* Ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical possibilities.

* Strong storytelling, communication, and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.

* Comfort navigating complex enterprise sales cycles.
