Description
We are looking for a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. In this role, you will focus on optimizing operational processes, fostering product innovation, and managing effective communication with customers and vendors. You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to drive impactful results.
Responsibilities:
Lead engineering and manufacturing projects to enhance operational efficiency and product innovation.
Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
Manage customer and vendor relationships to maintain strong communication and alignment on project goals.
Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress and achieve project milestones.
Apply design-for-manufacturability principles to develop cost-effective and efficient solutions.
Oversee supplier collaboration and sourcing activities to support project requirements.
Conduct thorough analysis to identify potential areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in engineering and manufacturing processes.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate project outcomes and recommendations.
Support cross-functional teams with technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or project management roles.
Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
Strong knowledge of CAD software, including SolidWorks.
Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing processes.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
Previous experience in supplier collaboration, product development, or sourcing projects preferred.
