Role: Senior Business Intelligence Developer - MicroStrategy
W2 Contract-to-Hire: 12 Months
Location: Remote
- This position is primarily remote. With that said, candidates must reside in Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, West Virginia, or Delaware to consider onsite PI planning sessions in Reston, Virginia, roughly once every two months
Pay Rate: $70.70/hour on W2 - All inclusive
Overview:
Are you a seasoned BI Developer with deep expertise in MicroStrategy? Join a leading team as a Senior Data Engineer (Senior Business Intelligence Developer), a critical backfill role focused on developing and maintaining key BI dashboards and reports. You will play a vital role in supporting the team's data products and contribute to a multi-year migration to AWS Redshift. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-priority, high-impact project with a path to full-time employment.
You will
Develop, implement, and maintain complex reports and dashboards using MicroStrategy.
Work with analysts to gather requirements and create and maintain mapping documents and other technical documentation.
Develop complex queries and assess the quality and integrity of data.
Participate in an Agile Scrum environment and collaborate with a large team.
Support data warehouse initiatives and work within a DevOps environment.
Required Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience as a BI Developer or similar role.
Must have significant MicroStrategy development experience.
Strong SQL and data warehousing skills.
Hands-on experience working in Linux environments.
Demonstrated experience with Agile Scrum and DevOps methodologies.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Hadoop or Cloudera platforms.
Experience with AWS Redshift.
A background in the U.S. Healthcare Industry.
Working knowledge of HEDIS, Fraud, Waste & Abuse, or other specific healthcare-related areas.
Experience with data modeling.
