Position Summary

Develop PoC and sample apps to demonstrate capabilities of newly introduced APIs by Android and Samsung or external third-party service providers.

Role and Responsibilities

Duties: Develop PoC and sample apps to demonstrate capabilities of newly introduced APIs by Android and Samsung or external third-party service providers. Analyze products from an engineering perspective and scope down to the highest-impact, lowest-effort technical solution to the problem. Work with the development and design team to create roadmaps and plans. Create well-scoped, well-documented product requirements documents to serve as clear references for developers. Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project. Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting. Identify process gaps in how the company operates as an organization, and work with leadership to course-correct & streamline company's internal delivery processes technical guidance and direction. Conduct thorough problem analysis in regard to technical system and application programs, document findings and propose problem resolution alternatives. Drive the execution of product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, and requirements development. Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams. Create and run cross-functional process project planning, timeline and task tracking, change management, and issues and risk management. Contribute to the Developer Program knowledge base and best practices development efforts. Own and operate a public-facing service with optimal performance and iterative enhancements. Manage backend infra and ensure compliance with security on a regular cadence. Design and document systems based on analysis results.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Computer Science or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as Senior Professional I, Product Management or related occupation in project management. The 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience must have included:

(1) working directly with engineering teams to build project plans and timelines and managing against timelines to ensure the quality and timely delivery of the products;

(2) Experience in Android application design and development;

(3) experience in Android, Java, HTML5, JavaScript, MySQL, and backend infra operations, including AWS, SSL, and Domain management;

(4) defining, building, and delivering products on public clouds - AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.

Salary: $283,442.00/year
