Mobile Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mobile architecture, including Ionic Capacitor and Cordova for hybrid apps, Swift (iOS) and Java (Android), and a deep understanding of MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on coding expertise, and strategic involvement in shaping solutions for business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the technical vision and architecture for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
• Lead the design and development of hybrid and native mobile solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance.
• Work hands-on in coding and troubleshooting complex issues when required.
• Design integrations with backend services, APIs, and third-party SDKs.
• Ensure apps are optimized for speed, memory, and battery usage.
• Implement mobile security best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Stay current with emerging mobile technologies and trends.

Required Technical Skills:

• Mobile architecture, including Ionic Capacitor and Cordova for hybrid apps.
• Swift (iOS) and Java (Android).
• MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture.
• RESTful APIs, JSON, and GraphQL.
• Mobile security standards (OWASP Mobile Top 10).
• App store submission processes.
• CICD pipelines (Jenkins, Fastlane, GitHub Actions).
• AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for mobile backend services.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in mobile architecture and development.
• Proven expertise in Ionic Capacitor and Cordova for hybrid apps, Swift (iOS) and Java (Android), and a deep understanding of MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture.
• Relevant certification in mobile architecture and development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Kotlin and Objective-C.
• Experience with CICD pipelines (Jenkins, Fastlane, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for mobile backend services.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Appium, Test, Espresso).
• Banking Financial Services industry knowledge.
