Position: Performance Architect/ Manager
Location: Bolingbrook, IL [ONSITE]
Google Cloud Platform stack of systems must have worked on
Kubernetes micro services bases systems performance engineering and assurance
Retail background / retail clients experience
Must have used Dynatrace for deep analysis
Know key aspects of Performance, systems scalability, Application performance and reliability
Sr role with Leadership communication skills on current status, Risks and mitigations, triage outcomes and keep actions on stakeholders. Give directions.
Should have strong experience in Performance Engineering, cloud optimization, capacity planning.
Should have development background in Java for tuning and optimization
Should have strong performance monitoring skills using Dynatrace/AppDynamics
Should have experience in performance testing process in agile methodologies
Should have good communication, leadership and presentation skills
Proven experience in performance engineering, technical project management, or business/technical analysis.
Strong understanding of system performance metrics, profiling tools, and optimization techniques.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment.
Experience with Agile methodologies and project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (Master s preferred).
Prior experience in a consulting or onsite customer engagement role.
Experience in cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Act as the primary onsite point of contact for performance engineering and technical project initiatives.
Collaborate closely with customer stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and align on priorities.
Lead performance analysis, tuning, and optimization efforts across applications and systems.
Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement and proactively propose solutions.
Translate business needs into technical requirements and work with engineering teams to implement them.
Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to both customer and internal leadership.
