Requisition Title: Marketing Operations - Information Systems Analyst IV [ Salesforce ]
Job Description:
The Marketing Operations - Information Systems Analyst will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and support the delivery of key marketing and revenue operations information systems. The ideal candidate will focus on driving change management efforts, ensuring smooth communication and effective adoption of updates to policies and system processes. This role will be pivotal in supporting system enhancements and optimizing the integration of technology with business objectives. The ideal candidate will combine strong Salesforce expertise with marketing process knowledge, Agile project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across both business and technical teams.
Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
- Business Requirement Gathering: Partner with business stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their objectives, challenges, and specific needs related to marketing and lead lifecycle. Translate these insights into clear, actionable user stories and technical specifications, while influencing the organization s roadmap and commitment to key initiatives. Manage intake, prioritization, and documentation of enhancement requests.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business users, developers, and technical teams to ensure alignment of project requirements, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring clear communication and coordination across teams.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate existing business processes to identify inefficiencies or opportunities for enhancement. Recommend and implement Salesforce-based solutions that drive productivity, improve efficiency, and enhance data integrity within the business application ecosystem.
- Testing and Validation: Work closely with QA teams to ensure Salesforce solutions align with business requirements and undergo thorough testing to meet quality standards before deployment.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, workflows, and any updates to the Salesforce environment, ensuring clear records of changes and the end-to-end business flow.
- System Support: Provide support by developing manual workarounds or alternative solutions while awaiting system enhancements or working towards an ideal technology solution. Partner with IT to resolve incidents or design long-term solutions.
Qualifications And Experience
- 7+ years of experience in business process development within a SaaS or cloud-based environment.
- Deep understanding of marketing processes and experience working with global marketing functions
- Extensive experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, and other leading SaaS solutions. Salesforce certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with the SAFe Agile framework is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams, and Excel to facilitate communication and daily operations.
- Expertise in Salesforce tools, including Salesforce Lightning, Reports & Dashboards, and AppExchange apps.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, best practices, and system integrations.
- Strong ability to analyze and model business processes, translating them into Salesforce-based solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and as collaborative team member.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
