Job Details

Title: Junior Systems Administrator 
Location: Nashville, TN (3 days onsite - M,T,Thursday, 2 days remote - W,Friday)
Employment Type: 6 month Contract
Compensation: 35-40/hr
Reason for Opening: A need for additional bandwidth with tickets so that the lead Sys Admins can focus more on automating other aspects of the infrastructure.
 
  • Role Focus: Level II technical support — more advanced than basic help desk tasks (e.g., password resets). Handles troubleshooting and determining if issues are user error before escalation.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on technical support and problem resolution.
  • Escalate issues after 15 minutes if unresolved.
  • Collaborate closely with the IT team — not working in isolation.
  • Contribute to infrastructure rebuild efforts across all sites.
Must Have Experience: 
  • Experience supporting physical servers and Azure VMs; 
  • 3+ years supporting Microsoft 365 email environment
  • Knowledge of Zendesk for ticketing and Ninja RMM for remote management.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and be collaborative.
