An IT company in New Jersey is currently seeking a motivated IT Support Associate. This contract-to-hire position provides a great opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career in IT support within a dynamic environment.


About the Opportunity:



  • Hybrid or Remote: Fully onsite

  • Shift: Standard business hours

  • Schedule: Full-time

  • Hours: 40 hours/week

  • Setting: Onsite at 200 Jefferson Park, Whippany, NJ



Responsibilities:


The IT Support Associate will be responsible for:



  • Performing desktop support, including hardware, software, network, printers, scanners, and A/V equipment for internal users.

  • Managing On-Boarding & Off-Boarding processes by deploying and recovering laptops and other IT peripherals.

  • Imaging, configuring, and deploying Windows 10 workstations.

  • Troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, Call Center software Five9, and other proprietary software.

  • Proactively troubleshooting production issues and ensuring all workstations meet security guidelines.

  • Assisting in meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for production systems.

  • Supporting the extended IT Infrastructure Team as needed.




Qualifications:



  • 0 to 2 years supporting IT Infrastructure functions

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering

  • Preferred Certifications: MCSA, A+, Net+

  • Proficiency with Windows 10 workstations, printers, and basic networking

  • Solid understanding of desktop systems and OTS applications

  • Strong hardware troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure



Desired Skills:



  • Experience in Healthcare IT Infrastructure and HIPAA compliance

  • Support of Apple Macs and mobile devices in a corporate environment

  • Good knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure support tools and technology

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to provide support outside of regular business hours as needed
