Job Responsibilities:
- Develop clear and accurate hardware repair procedures and documentation
- Create training materials to support technician learning and workflow understanding
- Ensure technical content is concise, consistent, and easy to follow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accuracy and clarity in documentation
- Support continuous improvement of service and repair content quality
- Write and edit procedural video scripts, manage content strategy, and analyze content performance through data analytics
Key Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to research technical topics and convey technical information to readers of varying skill and experience
- Experience writing step-by-step hardware procedures
- Ability to balance multiple tasks for several projects at the same time, often on short timelines
- Experience with style guides (experience writing globally and accessibly is a plus)
- Experience with content management systems, digital asset management, word processing, and spreadsheet apps
- Trustworthy; often information is confidential
Education:
Associate s or Bachelor s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience required
Type: Contract
Duration: 3 months with extension
Work Location: Sunnyvale, CA (100% on-site)
Pay rate: $50.00 - $74.50 (DOE)
