JOB SUMMARY:
Development, design, and testing of aircraft interior Cabin Electrical Systems and their installations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.
Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.
Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.

Development, design, and testing of aircraft interior Cabin Electrical Systems and their installations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare engineering drawings, and wiring schematics for Cabin Electrical Systems and interface wiring to supplier equipment and Avionics using computer based drafting tools (CATIA/CCD, HarnesSys and/or Siemens Capital)
- Prepare engineering evaluation test procedures for mockups, operational test procedures, ground and flight test plans, and other engineering documents
- Write technical descriptions of subject matter pertinent to design or test requirements. Includes descriptions of supplier parts, test or testing specifications, etc.
- Assist with the evaluation and analysis of Cabin Electrical System design for completion of function hazard assessments and system safety assessments
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering Technology
- Computer Science
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Microsoft Office applications
- Time management skills
