Harmonia Holdings has an exciting opportunity for a Hardware Installation Technician (Tier II) to join our rapidly growing team supporting a federal government client.

Job Summary:
The Hardware Installation Technician (Tier II) is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware components, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. This role involves deploying desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals to support organizational needs. A Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI is required for this position. A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred. Certifications such as CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Server+ are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware systems, including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.
  • Perform hardware upgrades and replacements as necessary to meet organizational requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure hardware components and accessories.
  • Ensure compliance with hardware security policies and procedures during installations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and end-users to plan and schedule hardware installation projects.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users regarding hardware-related issues.
  • Document hardware configurations, specifications, and installation procedures for reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware installation issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hardware installation or related role.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
  • Knowledge of hardware components and configurations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Server+ are preferred but not required.
