Job Title: Senior Business Process Manager (BPM)

Job Type: 12 Months Conract

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Process Manager (BPM) to lead process re-engineering, BPMN modeling, and Target Operating Model (TOM) design initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ARIS, BPMN 2.0, process mining, and regulatory/controls-driven process optimization, with proven ability to deliver end-to-end BPM programs from discovery through implementation. This is an onsite role based in Columbus, OH.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end BPM programs, including discovery, design, implementation, and stakeholder management.
  • Drive process re-engineering, process capture, analysis, and redesign for multiple business functions.
  • Develop and govern BPMN 2.0 models, ensuring adherence to modeling standards and structured review practices.
  • Partner with Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams to align processes with organizational goals.
  • Conduct risk identification, control design, KYC/periodic reviews, and regulatory reporting lineage.
  • Apply process mining (DISCO) and automation (UiPath/Automation Anywhere) to optimize workflows and reduce operational inefficiencies.
  • Establish collaboration governance (naming conventions, hierarchy, cadence) and implement semantic checks/QA checklists to ensure model quality.
  • Support Agile and SDLC practices by mapping requirements to BPMN models, creating test suites, and ensuring traceability.
  • Mentor and guide business analysts, modelers, and stakeholders on BPM best practices.
  • Deliver executive-level reporting on cycle time reduction, SLA attainment, backlog burn-down, and risk metrics.



Core Skills & Capabilities:

  • Strong expertise in ARIS (governance, modeling, reporting).
  • Proficient in BPMN 2.0, including pools/lanes, subprocesses, timers, escalation, and compensation events.
  • Hands-on experience in process mining (DISCO), variant/conformance analysis, and bottleneck detection.
  • Solid understanding of Risk, Controls, and Compliance frameworks (KYC, audit readiness, SoD, ITIL alignment).
  • Experience with SDLC enablement: requirements traceability, model-based testing, and NFR capture.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile ceremonies, Jira/Confluence, and PMO coordination (PRINCE2 awareness preferred).
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders, drive decision-making, and manage cross-functional workshops.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Business Process Management, BPMN modeling, and process re-engineering.
  • Proven experience leading BPM programs in financial services, technology, or regulatory environments.
  • Hands-on experience with ARIS, DISCO, Jira/Confluence, and automation platforms.
  • Strong understanding of corporate/regulatory tech, risk analytics, and compliance-driven workflows.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
