Position: Backend Web Application Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: Long Term
Job Details:
Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and responsive consumer-facing applications that support high traffic volumes.
Develop all server-side logic, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and security.
Integrate front-end components built by UI developers into the application.
Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, architects, developers, and automation engineers in an agile environment.
Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver high-performing, resilient, and intuitive applications.
Ensure applications provide excellent customer experiences with a focus on usability and performance.
Participate in code reviews and design discussions; contribute to continuous improvement.
Stay updated with latest trends and best practices in JavaScript, backend development, and related technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively to maintain smooth application performance.
Advocate for quality, security, and scalability in software development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong experience in backend development, preferably with Node.js, Java, or similar technologies.
Solid understanding of server-side frameworks and RESTful API design.
Experience integrating front-end elements with backend services.
Basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks.
Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and data modeling.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
