The Role
We re looking for a DevOps Engineer who treats infrastructure like software, obsesses over automation, and thrives in high-velocity environments. You ll own the bridge between development and operations, ensuring our systems are reliable, scalable, and secure from CI/CD pipelines to production monitoring.
What You ll Do
Core Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
- Automate everything: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation), configuration management (Ansible, Chef), and deployment scripts.
- Own cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform (VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
- Implement observability: Logging (ELK, Loki), metrics (PrometheGrafana), tracing (OpenTelemetry), and alerting (PagerDuty/Opsgenie).
- Drive reliability: Chaos engineering, SLOs/SLIs, on-call rotation, and incident response.
- Secure the stack: Secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager), IAM policies, vulnerability scanning, and compliance (SOC2, GDPR).
- Collaborate with developers to improve deployment speed, reduce toil, and enable self-service platforms.
- Champion GitOps and progressive delivery (blue-green, canary, feature flags).
What You Bring
Must-Have
- 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
- Deep experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
- Mastery of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred).
- Strong CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins).
- Container orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS) deployments, Helm, operators.
- Scripting fluency: Bash, Python, or Go.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security best practices.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), serverless, or edge computing.
- Contributions to open-source or internal tooling.
- Certifications: AWS DevOps, CKAD/CKA, Terraform Associate.
- Background in high-scale systems (10k+ RPS, multi-region).
