Job Details

Role: Network Engineer
Location:Remote - US
Must Haves:
Prior and referenceable experience
Ability to work on a team in a collaborative environment
Be able to lead and play a key role in internal workshops
Experience writing and carrying out RFP processes
Clear and decisive communicator that can work with key stakeholders
Ability to work with 3rd party vendors on design and solutioning efforts as well as assessing their technologies/solutions
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate on Design & Architecture for scalable and secure NaaS solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
Develop and manage network automation scripts and orchestration tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python).
Integrate SD-WAN, cloud networking, and edge services into a unified NaaS platform.
Collaborate with security, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure network availability, performance, and compliance.
Implement API-driven networking to support self-service provisioning and tenant segmentation.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize NaaS environments for latency, bandwidth, and fault tolerance.
Contribute to SLAs, monitoring dashboards, and service catalogs for NaaS offerings.
Stay current with emerging trends in network virtualization, Zero Trust, and SASE frameworks.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
3+ years of experience in enterprise or cloud networking.
Strong understanding of L2/L3 protocols, routing, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewall policies.
Hands-on experience with SDN, SD-WAN, or SASE technologies (e.g., Cisco SD-WAN, VMware NSX, Prisma, etc.).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
Experience with public cloud networking (AWS VPCs, Azure Virtual Networks, Google Cloud Platform).
Familiarity with ITIL or service-oriented architectures.
Preferred:
Certifications such as CCNP, AWS Networking Specialty, or equivalent.
Experience building or operating multi-tenant network platforms.
Familiarity with network observability tools (NetFlow, SNMP, Grafana, etc.).
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Customer-focused mindset with attention to service delivery and uptime.
