Summary:
Client is looking for a talented and motivated Legal Counsel (Contact position) to support its North America Service Business team. The North America Service Business (NASB) team is responsible for developing and delivering best-in-class digital experiences to consumers, operating a distribution platform that connects the TV and mobile ecosystems, and providing unique solutions to advertising clients through its proprietary Company s Ads platform. The North America Service Business organization is a fully integrated business unit, with product, engineering, ad sales, marketing, partnerships, and supporting functions working together seamlessly to drive the success of the business.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $70.00 - $75.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.

Summary:

The North America Service Business organization is a fully integrated business unit, with product, engineering, ad sales, marketing, partnerships, and supporting functions working together seamlessly to drive the success of the business.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements such as technology and software licensing agreements, sponsorship and marketing agreements, and other commercial contracts.
- Supporting our ads business team with the review of insertion orders (IAB terms), data and ad tech related contracts, advertising demand-side platforms and supply-side platforms agreements, and software developer contracts.
- Reviewing promotion and marketing materials including drafting terms for sweepstakes and contests.
- Drafting template agreements.
- Advising on legal issues arising from existing commercial relationships.
- Advising and supporting the NASB team and other business partners in the US and company headquarters in South Korea.
Requirements:
- Excellent academic credentials, including a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admission in good standing to a state bar
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
- Experience in privacy, intellectual property law and licensing preferred
- Interest in and knowledge of media, technology and ad business
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, high level of professionalism and solid business judgment
- Ability to manage multiple projects, to set and adjust priorities, to work under pressure, and to maintain composure and a sense of humor while doing so
- Ability to successfully manage aggressive deadlines while thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Team player, excellent negotiating skills, keen analytical abilities, a pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Ability to work closely with other team members such as Business, Finance, Product and our Headquarter in South Korea
