Job Description


Analyzes non-IT business problems and articulates requirements to support process improvement opportunities. Creates framework for assessing financial payback. Identifies alternative solutions and makes recommendation. Prepares documentation of current and desired state. Develops requirements and builds a common understanding between process owners and solution developers. Role demands ability to assess process performance, strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience in preparing ROI statements for proposed investments.

These roles are focusing on the (1) Digital experience and the (1) API integrations for the Auto Policy Mod effort.

Someone with USAA digital and Guidewire integration and configuration experience is most desired. USAA digital without GW is also okay.

Requirement elaboration for P&C products with a focus on Auto Insurance - 6+
Ability to mine existing rules and conduct technical analysis and documentation of requirements. - 6+
Ability to draft acceptance criteria for both features and stories for development teams - 6+

Proficient in Jira and Rally - working knowledge of Jira Work Management. Working knowledge of PAS

Works with Business and IT Teams to research current functionality and elicit requirements needed to continue building on an Auto MVP to enable conversion of existing policies into the new system. Will draft requirements (acceptance criteria) from capability groups - features - stories.

Requirement identification, elaboration, documentation. Build a healthy backlog of work needed for Development teams. Work across other teams for dependency identification and coordination of both requirements and development support.


Candidate needs to be able to work in San Antonio office with other DPOs and IT teams. Ideally candidate will have experience with current USAA P&C systems and processes.
