We are seeking an outcome-driven Lead Architect to join our mission of creating innovative digital solutions that make healthcare more accessible, integrated, and reliable. As a Lead Architect, you will collaborate with design, research, product management, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into architectural solutions and scalable development runways.
You will leverage your expertise in key technologies to help build products that transform the healthcare industry and improve the lives of millions of people.
Responsibilities:
Lead technical architecture initiatives for multiple value streams (e.g., Agile Release Trains) ensuring successful product deliveries.
Identify opportunities to leverage common solutions for cross-cutting concerns.
Conduct build vs. buy evaluations.
Partner with stakeholders to establish and adopt architectural best practices, guidelines, and standards.
Translate product requirements and vision into feasible architecture solutions, identifying risks or blockers.
Define and ensure incorporation of non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, availability, failover, security, etc.).
Communicate and present technical blueprints to business and engineering stakeholders.
Oversee architectural roadmaps, balancing feature development, technical debt reduction, and strategic objectives.
Collaborate with multiple Agile teams to guide solutions across planning and execution cycles.
Evaluate emerging technologies and vendors; guide proof-of-concepts and discovery efforts.
Mentor and provide guidance to Architects, Senior Architects, and other collaborators.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of enterprise-level application development experience.
6+ years in architecture, including leading technical architecture initiatives for multiple value streams.
Strong understanding of architectural methodologies and best practices.
Expertise in:
Server application design, APIs, microservices, containers, databases, and cloud infrastructures.
Distributed computing architectures, including concurrency, parallelism, and race condition handling.
RESTful API patterns.
Experience with UI/UX system design and development.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
Proven ability to explain complex technical designs to diverse stakeholders.
Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAFe practices and Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance (ADA, PCI, PII, PHI).
Experience with security-oriented projects
