Job Details

We are looking for a Peoplesoft Functional Analyst for a long-term remote contract opportunity in Austin, Texas. This position offers full remote work flexibility. While we welcome candidates from anywhere, preference will be given to those located within the State of Texas.
Responsibilities:

  • Understands business objectives and problems, adeptly identifying alternative solutions and conducting comprehensive studies with cost/benefit analyses.
  • Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and challenges to streamline processes or enhance existing computer systems.
  • Collaborates with personnel from various organizational units to analyze current operational procedures and discern specific input/output requirements, such as data formats and report structures.
  • Writes detailed descriptions outlining user needs, program functionalities, and the necessary steps for developing or modifying computer programs.
  • Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling constraints to assess the feasibility of requested programs or changes within the existing system.

You:

  • 8+ years with a background as a Business Analyst specializing in PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM), with a proven track record in implementation or upgrade projects.
  • 8+ years of expertise in PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, specifically in General Ledger and Commitment Accounting modules.
  • 8+ years demonstrating expertise as a Business Analyst adept at pinpointing requirements and crafting comprehensive functional documents tailored for crucial business stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • 8+ years of a proven track record as a Business Analyst facilitating structured work sessions and delivering insightful functional analysis presentations.
  • 8+ years of extensive experience in executing thorough end-to-end system integration and rigorous external interface testing, ensuring seamless functionality across all components.
  • 8+ years of experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • 8+ years of experience with MS Team and Channel communication with a large team.
  • 4+ years of knowledge with MS Team and Channel communication with a large team preferred.
  • 1+ years of proficiency in collaborating with the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Contracts preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) preferred.
  • 2+ years of proficiency with SharePoint preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience with Jira preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience working with the Scrum framework preferred.
  • 1+ years of knowledge with STAT preferred.
