Job Details

We are looking for a mission-driven Cybersecurity Analyst to support high-impact security compliance efforts in Suffolk, VA. This is a key role responsible for ensuring system security throughout the development lifecycle and driving Risk Management Framework (RMF) efforts in support of national defense initiatives.

What You ll Do:

  • Serve as the primary security compliance agent for critical systems.
  • Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments across all phases of the system development life cycle.
  • Develop and review RMF packages, ensuring systems meet Navy cybersecurity requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret vulnerability scans, network scans, and traffic logs.
  • Implement STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides) and other DoD security controls.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to resolve complex information assurance (IA) challenges.
  • Monitor network traffic and user activity for potential threats and policy violations.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant Navy IA or cybersecurity experience.
  • Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with RMF, STIG implementation, and vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset toward cybersecurity threats.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance (required).
