Job Description

Will this position be required to work onsite for any reason at any time? Yes, Resource will be required to report onsite a minimum of one day per week, contingent upon departmental business needs. Location is Jefferson Detroit.

Engagement Description

The Support analyst assists in the planning, coordinating, developing, and implementing of approved projects which are Divisional and/or Corporate in scope to enhance the overall efficiency of operational procedures, methods, controls, and performance. Analyze, process and/or expedite operational transactions; this may include timely resolution of problems. Participate in systems testing, develop procedures/controls and provide recommendations for the ongoing improvement of the updated process. Provide leadership team with status of projects; issue, communicate and recommend policy decisions to achieve project objectives. Utilize and maintain available corporate production and reporting systems; produce routine and non-routine reports, presentations, letters communications and graphics. Assist personnel (both internal and external) by answering questions, supplying information and training. Represent department and division as requested on work groups and special assignments. Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with customers or partners. Other duties may be assigned.

Top 3 Required Skills/Experience The support analyst should have a combination of technical and soft skills.
Key technical skills include data analysis, understanding business intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, SAP BusinessObjects, etc., and knowledge of databases and systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, OneNote) and working knowledge of SharePoint.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management aptitudes - The ability to identify problems, analyze their root causes, and propose effective solutions

Required Skills/Experience
Two (2) to five (5) years' experience in related field is required.
Demonstrated knowledge/competency in the following areas: claims or inquiry processing experience preferred, analytical experience, ability to produce statistical information from conceptual needs, and working with PC application and/or mainframe systems preferred.
Working demonstration of creating process models using tools like BPMN or Visio.
Ability to lead and contribute to process improvement programs.
Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong understanding of system design principles, data modeling, and the ability to document requirements to design and implement effective systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interact with all levels of personnel.
Ability to work independently
Self-starter/Self-motivated
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail to ensure that requirements are captured correctly and that systems are designed to meet business needs.

Department Requirements -
Create and present reports and presentations to display operational data and proposed business changes
Customer Service experience interfacing with internal and external customers
Demonstrated project work/corporate work group experience (within the last year)
Provide support to internal and external stakeholders by answering questions, supplying information, support of corporate tools, and training
Document and assist with implementing standard policies and procedures
Develop and document workflows
Identify and or analyze business problems and develop recommendations for solutions
Participate in systems testing
Develop procedures/controls and provide recommendations for the ongoing improvement of the updated process

Preferred Skills/Experience
Knowledge of database concepts and SQL (Structured Query Language)
Continuous Improvement Process education/training

Education/Certifications
Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
