Our client, a premier technology advisory firm serving small and mid-sized businesses across North America, is seeking an experienced Sage Intacct Implementation Consultant. This award-winning consultancy has built their reputation on delivering transformative technology solutions that enable their clients to compete more effectively in today's digital economy. The company is now backed by private equity and has the capital and resources to scale the entire business significantly, and this Sage Intacct group is a big part of that growth.

This is a Direct-Hire position that can be based remotely, ideally anywhere in the Northeast or mid-Atlantic regions.

The Role You ll Play

As an Intacct Implementation Consultant, you will be the primary architect of the Sage Intacct solutions, ensuring their clients maximize the value of their investment. You'll lead implementation projects from discovery through deployment, working directly with customers to understand their business requirements, configure solutions, and deliver training. This role bridges technical expertise with business acumen, requiring someone who can both understand complex business processes and translate them into effective system configurations.

  • Lead end-to-end Sage Intacct implementations, from requirements gathering through go-live and support transition

  • Define and document project scope, timelines, and deliverables using standard project management methodologies

  • Configure Sage Intacct systems while documenting business processes and system configurations

  • Design and implement custom reports, interfaces, and functions based on client requirements

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive user training programs to ensure client proficiency

  • Manage multiple concurrent implementation projects while maintaining quality standards and client satisfaction

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, support, other consultants) to ensure seamless project delivery

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the implementation process and beyond

  • Stay current with Sage Intacct product updates and contribute best practices to the consulting team

Background Profile:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Sage Intacct implementation experience required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, Information Systems, or related field preferred

  • Strong financial and accounting systems knowledge, with demonstrated understanding of business process flows

  • Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and documenting end-to-end business processes

  • Proven track record managing multiple concurrent implementation projects from kickoff to completion

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with ability to build strong relationships at all levels

  • Advanced problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience leading client training sessions

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high quality standards

  • Experience with integrations and custom report writing preferred

  • Ability to travel up to 30% for client engagements

  • Professional certifications in Sage Intacct highly valued
