About the area:
- Engineering Excellence is comprised of DevEx, Non-Prod Environment, Engineering Framework, and API
- This role will support 1 ART but will be responsible for a separate department that holds their own PI Planning but is still part of the EE ART
Areas of accountability:
- Ensuring the ART is accountable to itself, stakeholders, and commitments. Encouraging ART members to take ownership of their work and results, with a focus on predictable delivery of business value.
- Empowering the teams, and "Team of Teams", to self-organize and take ownership of their work by encouraging collaboration, innovation and experimentation
- Advocating Process and Practice improvement by encouraging experimentation and adoption of new tools, techniques and methods
- Promote Agile Values and Principles, such as focus on business value, continuous improvement, self-organizing teams, etc.
- Identification, tracking, and removal of impediments (risks/dependencies/issues), internal and external, encountered by the ART that impede flow or achieving PI Objectives.
Responsibilities Include:
Responsibilities include:
- Serving the ART by understanding the product[s] the ART delivers and helping the teams and stakeholders understand the need for a clear and concise product backlog, effective planning approaches, and execution.
- Planning and facilitating ART/Product level Agile Events such as I&A and PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums / Art Sync, Program/Product backlog refinement and other relevant ceremonies
- Building Partnerships w/Key Stakeholders including Product Mangers, Sr. Product Delivery Mangers, Product Operations Managers, etc.
- Coaching ART leaders and stakeholders on Agile principles, practices, and values from ideation through value realization. This includes helping all stakeholders understand agile frameworks, roles, events, artifacts & intents
- Enhance ART Performance through proper transparency and metrics to help understand current state and drive continuous improvement and optimization of the flow of business value.
- Acting as a "Chief Scrum Master" and leading and coaching Scrum Masters in building and enabling sustainable agile self-managing and self-organizing teams and team of teams.
