Title: Business Analyst PALM Remediation Team
Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite)
Duration: 8+ Months (October 15, 2025 June 30, 2026) with possible renewal
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the PALM Remediation Team in Tallahassee, FL. The selected candidate will collaborate across multiple business units, working with subject matter experts to document requirements, analyze processes, and ensure quality assurance throughout the remediation effort. This role requires strong business and systems analysis skills, testing experience, and the ability to manage requirements using Azure DevOps.
Responsibilities:
Research and understand FDOT business processes and system dependencies.
Document and diagram business and system processes.
Analyze and document business system impacts related to PALM implementation.
Facilitate workshops with business units to gather requirements.
Write user stories and manage backlog using Azure DevOps.
Develop test plans, test cases, and coordinate QA efforts.
Perform oversight reviews for compliance with department standards.
Coordinate with development, testing, and remediation teams.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
5+ years of Business Process & Systems Analysis experience.
Proficiency with process mapping/modeling tools (e.g., Visio).
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience writing SQL queries and performing data analysis.
Experience with Microsoft DevOps / Azure DevOps.
Preferred Skills:
Technical experience in IBM Mainframe, Distributed, or Cloud environments.
Knowledge of Florida Administrative Code (Rules 60GG-1 60GG-5).
Experience with data migration, change/release management, and QA methodologies.
Agile project experience managing requirements/backlogs in Azure DevOps.
Certifications such as CBAP or CSM.
Advanced Microsoft skills: SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, and MS Project.
Key Competencies:

Ability to facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and software development practices.
Knowledge of PMBOK and State of Florida Project Management Rule 60GG-1.
