System Administrator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Remote System Administrator to manage and maintain our company's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our network and systems, providing remote support to users, and implementing technology solutions to meet organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor, manage, and maintain servers, networks, and systems remotely.

Install, configure, and update hardware and software components.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by users or detected through system monitoring.

Perform regular backups, disaster recovery procedures, and system audits.

Implement security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and access controls.

Document system configurations, procedures, and policies.

Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to deploy new solutions and upgrades.

Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.

Provide remote technical support and training to users.

Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in system administration.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.

Experience with virtualization, networking, and storage solutions.

Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Certified, AWS Certified) are a plus.
