Job Details

Position: Salesforce Developer 

Team: Development Team

Openings: 1

Reason for opening: New AI initiatives in 2026. This person will be tasked with multiple large initiatives.

Remote/Onsite/ Hybrid: if within 40 miles of the Vernon Hills office then will be hybrid (3x/week in office). If not local, 100% remote within USA.

Duration: 3-6 months C2H

 

Interview Process: 3 virtual interviews. (1 = Manager and SF business owner. 2 = panel with BA’s and QA’s. 3= 2 directors)

Interview Times: interviews will start early Jan

Start Date: ASAP once selected

Team Size: team of 10. Devops engineers and developers

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform using one or more: Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flow, Visualforce, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python and or C #
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying agentic solutions with AI/LLM technologies (AI Agents)
  • Knowledge across the SF platform (FSC, Service, Sales, Marketing Cloud)

 

Job Description:

The individuals in this role must be passionate about improving our business and member experiences through AI & driving innovation. A significant part of this role involves architecting and deploying complex AI and Large Language Model (LLM) based agentic agents and automated workflows, built using Salesforce’s emerging platform capabilities.

 

Role and Responsibilities

 

  1. Drive business outcomes through hands-on implementation of AI solutions; design, develop, and deploy autonomous agentic solutions using Salesforce Agentforce and related AI frameworks.
  2. Dive deep into the Agentforce Agents capabilities, design and build bespoke agentic agents to drive precise business outcomes.
  3. Build and optimize Data integrations, Apex classes, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow automations to ensure always ready, optimized and secure support for agentic workflows.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into intelligent agentic solutions.
  5. Contribute to all stages of the agentic solution lifecycle from initial design through development, testing and final deployment.
  6. Ensure scalability, security, and maintainability of agentic solutions across the Salesforce ecosystem.

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce in a development role.
  • Strong background in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
  • Expert-level proficiency developing on the Salesforce platform using one or more: Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flow, Visualforce, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python and or C #.
  • Extensive hands-on experience building and deploying agentic solutions with AI/LLM technologies, including applying AI orchestration, prompt engineering techniques, and agentic frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce's AI capabilities including Agentforce, Einstein, Prompt Builder.
  • Requires Certified Platform Administrator certification or Certified Platform Developer.
  • Requires Certified Agentforce Specialist.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience developing and deploying agentic solutions within highly regulated industries.
  • Deep knowledge across Salesforce CRM (FSC, Service, Sales, Marketing Cloud).
  • Data Cloud Consultant Certification.
  • Advanced Salesforce Certifications Certified Platform App Builder or Certified Platform Developer II
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working within agile teams and directly with business stakeholders.
  • Familiar with CI/CD solutions and DevOps principles.
