  • Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a ServiceNow CMDB Developer/Administrator to join our team.

    JOB SUMMARY

    This role will serve as a liaison between technical execution, business priorities, and the ServiceNow Platform Team, providing recommendations and process improvements without formal decision-making authority.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience with the following:
      • ServiceNow development
      • CMDB service and application mapping
      • Hands-on work in ServiceNow CMDB development and administration
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with the following:
      • Advanced knowledge in ITIL, CMDB relationships, and PPM workflows
      • Systems analysis, design, and programming o Integrating and managing multiple third-party data sources for CMDB using APIs
      • Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting and tools including JavaScript, Glide, and Flow Designer
      • Leadership experience as a project lead for ServiceNow implementations and administration


    PREFERRED SKILLS

    • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively, representing platform capabilities across the organization.
    • Clear communicator with strong skills in professional organization, technical documentation, and progress monitoring using ServiceNow.
    • Self-starter with analytical problem-solving abilities; collaborative, proactive, positive team player; resourceful and innovative.
    • Proven ability to influence through well-informed recommendations and effective stakeholder engagement.
    • Experience in ServiceNow development, integration, and implementation within the government sector.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Implement CMDB Health Dashboards.
    • Implement CMDB 360.
    • Map Services and Applications ~ 600.
    • Develop and maintain ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, PPM, CMDB, and Service Catalog as it relates to CMDB.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend platform configurations.
    • Liaise with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Finance) to ensure ServiceNow solutions meet organizational needs.
    • Liaison Supporting CMDB interests as it relates to adjacent department projects implementing SAM and HAM.
    • Provide insights and recommendations for workflow automation, performance optimization, and user experience related to CMDB.
    • Support integration efforts with third-party applications and data sources (APIs).
    • Deliver detailed documentation, testing protocols, and training materials for platform updates.
    • Coordinate with external vendors or consultants as needed for specialized deployments.


    ADDITIONAL OVERVIEW

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend platform configurations.
    • Liaise with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Finance) to ensure ServiceNow solutions meet
    • organizational needs.
    • Liaison Supporting CMDB interests as it relates to adjacent department projects implementing SAM and HAM.
    • Provide insights and recommendations for workflow automation, performance optimization, and user experience related to CMDB.
    • Support integration efforts with third-party applications and data sources.
    • Deliver detailed documentation, testing protocols, and training materials for platform updates.
    • Coordinate with external vendors or consultants as needed for specialized deployments.
    • Coordinates with ServiceNow support team on new or modifies existing applications within the platform.
    • Plans and develops test data to validate new or modified applications within the platform.
    • Evaluates alternative solutions and recommends and implements appropriate applications design.
    • Interviews functional and technical staff to gather documentation required for analysis of current system application requirements.
    • Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the team's service by offering suggestions or direction as a member of the team.
    • The successful candidate must work be able to work independently and as a team.
