Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our client's team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a long-term contract to hire opportunity within the healthcare industry, offering the chance to work in a dynamic environment supporting critical IT operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring seamless desktop operations and user support during system transitions and upgrades.
Responsibilities:
Deploy and configure desktops and laptops using Altiris imaging tools.
Install, update, and troubleshoot applications within Windows 10/11 environments.
Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
Deliver technical assistance during healthcare system conversion and rollout phases.
Implement and manage device patching and updates to ensure system security.
Handle Single Sign-On provisioning and user access management.
Collaborate with clinical and operational staff to resolve IT issues promptly.
Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system deployments.
Requirements
2-4 years of experience in desktop support or IT field services.
Strong proficiency in Windows operating systems, application troubleshooting, and software deployment.
Familiarity with Altiris imaging tools and patching solutions.
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and understanding of basic networking.
Ability to work onsite and effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
