Job Details

We're working with a digital health company based in Cranston, RI, focused on improving chronic care through secure, innovative health tech solutions. They're looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their team and lead critical decisions around infrastructure architecture, platform performance, and secure system design.

This hybrid role requires 3 days/week onsite in their Cranston office and offers the opportunity to collaborate across engineering, data, and clinical technology teams in a mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and maintain infrastructure platforms and client computing solutions
  • Manage Azure-based cloud environments (IaaS/PaaS) and Windows systems
  • Implement and maintain DevOps pipelines, security, and compliance frameworks
  • Lead disaster recovery, change control, and system standardization efforts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on large-scale and complex tech projects
  • Mentor junior engineers and act as a technical advisor on platform strategy
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years in infrastructure engineering or systems architecture
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, performance tuning, and system design
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Perl, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), networking (TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Strong Azure experience (VMs, networking, security, logging, monitoring tools)
  • Effective communicator with the ability to explain tech solutions to leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
