Description
Robert Half is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Developer to design, build, and maintain integrations across enterprise systems to support a client in Seattle, Washington. This role requires not only strong technical expertise but also the ability to consult, guide best practices, and help architect scalable solutions.
Duration: Short-term contract
Schedule: Monday-Friday (9-5pm - PST working hours)
Pay rate: up to $80/hourly

Robert Half is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Developer to design, build, and maintain integrations across enterprise systems to support a client in Seattle, Washington. This role requires not only strong technical expertise but also the ability to consult, guide best practices, and help architect scalable solutions.
Duration: Short-term contract
Schedule: Monday-Friday (9-5pm - PST working hours)
Pay rate: up to $80/hourly
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, APIs, SQL, and modern programming languages (Java, C#, or Python).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and system owners to gather and document requirements, model data flows, and deliver secure, scalable solutions.
- Lead integration architecture efforts, ensuring best practices in APIs, messaging, ETL processes, and data security (FERPA compliance, authentication, and protection).
- Maintain clear documentation for designs, configurations, and processes; support knowledge transfer and provide technical guidance to internal teams.
- Act as a consultative partner, helping shape direction and ensuring long-term project success.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in integration development (titles may vary).
- Strong experience with MuleSoft, APIs, and web services.
- Proficiency in SQL database design and querying.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, C#, or Python).
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and modern development workflows.
- Strong documentation skills; able to work independently and communicate effectively.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with financial or accounting data.
