job summary:

We are seeking a seasoned technical professional to provide Level 3 support for FDA-approved software and wireless medical devices operating within customer-managed networks. This role also delivers critical infrastructure support to global R&D and Service Center teams, ensuring robust performance and security across environments.

responsibilities:

Wireless Network Support



  • Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise wireless network controllers and access points (preferably Cisco).
  • Deploy new wireless controllers and SSIDs using varied encryption and authentication protocols (ISM 2.4GHz, 5.2GHz, 6GHz).
  • Resolve client network connectivity issues related to device settings, environmental factors, or system configurations.
  • Manage RADIUS servers and 802.1x authentication methods (EAP-PEAP, EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS, EAP-FAST).
  • Understand and apply 802.11 standards, channel usage, and identify common wireless interference sources.


Network Infrastructure



  • Install, configure, and maintain Cisco Catalyst routers and switches using IPv4 and IPv6.
  • Perform wired and wireless traffic captures and analysis using tools like AirMagnet and Wireshark.
  • Configure firewalls, establish and troubleshoot site-to-site VPNs, and manage network ACLs.


Security & Certificates



  • Create and manage x.509 certificates and keystores.
  • Convert certificates between formats (e.g., PKCS#12 to PEM) as required.


Cisco ISE Administration



  • Add/remove devices and manage AAA profiles for network authentication.
  • Diagnose and resolve device authentication/authorization issues.


Virtualization & Server Management



  • Install and manage hypervisors (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, or equivalent).
  • Deploy and maintain virtual machines and templates.
  • Build and support Windows Server (2016+) and Linux environments.
  • Install and manage Microsoft SQL Server instances for application support.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (required)
  • Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CWNA, CCNA, or CCIE (preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of professional IT experience across listed domains
