Job Description

A global investment firm with a track record spanning four decades and more than $32 billion deployed across healthcare, life sciences, and technology sectors is seeking a Senior Security Administrator/Engineer. This full-time role reports directly to the executive leadership responsible for information and cyber risk, and it plays a lead role in implementing and maintaining security strategies that support both business continuity and regulatory compliance.

This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned security professional looking to take ownership of critical infrastructure and guide the development of a comprehensive security program. The organization is looking for someone who's highly technical, experienced with modern enterprise security tooling, and able to drive measurable improvements while also mentoring junior staff. You'll gain exposure to a variety of high-impact projects.

Requiered Skills
  • 5-7+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, preferably in a system or network engineering capacity
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft cloud environments (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
  • Solid understanding of SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, IAM, DLP, and modern threat intel tools
  • Experience responding to CVEs and managing security incident remediation
  • Deep knowledge of network and host-based intrusion detection, VPNs, PKI, EDR, and compliance configuration standards
Desired Skills & Experience
  • CISSP, CISM, or advanced SANS certifications (e.g., GSE)
  • Hands-on experience with Zero Trust architecture, security automation/orchestration
  • Familiarity with public, private, and hybrid cloud infrastructure security
  • Track record of success improving SOC monitoring and response workflows
