Job Title: Terraform Subject Matter Expert
Location: Bellevue, WA (Onsite)
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Automation & Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and cloud security. The ideal candidate will design and optimize automated cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and designs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Design, build, and maintain automated cloud processes to improve consistency and efficiency across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM Templates, CFN, and Bicep.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps, Code Guru, Azure-AWS-Google Cloud Platform Network, Monitoring, and Security services for cloud optimization.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment, reliability, and scalability of cloud services.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
  • Set up proactive monitoring and troubleshooting systems using Azure-native tools.
  • Create technical documentation and provide guidance on cloud best practices.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7-12 years of experience in software development for enterprise applications.
  • Expertise in Terraform, ARM Templates, CFN, Bicep for cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with cloud monitoring & logging solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
  • Solid grasp of database architecture and data models.
  • Strong problem-solving and innovation skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve software bugs, execute unit tests, and optimize performance benchmarks.
  • Experience participating in technical evaluations and coding challenges.
