Job Title: Lead Workday Driver Pay (Payroll) Prism Consultant
Location: Remote (US)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Workday Driver Pay (Payroll) Prism Consultant to support and optimize our complex driver compensation programs. This role requires deep experience with Workday Payroll, especially in modelling driver pay structures, and hands-on expertise in Workday Prism Analytics for real-time reporting and insights. You will design and implement solutions to ingest, model, and report on pay components such as mileage, stops, bonuses, wait time, and compliance deductions.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with Payroll, Transportation Ops, and Finance teams to gather requirements specific to driver pay elements.
Design and build Prism data pipelines to ingest external data such as GPS logs, dispatch systems, trip sheets, and performance metrics.
Model complex driver pay calculations (e.g., mileage-based, hourly, per stop, bonus pay) in Workday.
Develop custom reports, analytics dashboards, and audit tools for visibility into driver pay across business units.
Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with DOT, union agreements, and local tax regulations.
Work closely with Workday integration teams to bring data from logistics/transportation systems into Prism securely and efficiently.
Maintain and enhance Workday Payroll configuration, including earning codes, pay components, and pay groups for drivers.
Support testing, validation, and deployment of new driver pay enhancements.
Train HR/payroll staff and operations users on report usage and self-service dashboards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in HRIS, IT, Data Analytics, or related field.
Experience with Workday, including Workday Payroll and Workday Prism Analytics.
Demonstrated experience configuring driver-specific pay models (e.g., mileage-based pay, incentive-based bonuses).
Deep understanding of Workday Report Writer, calculated fields, composite reports, and custom pay components.
Experience integrating 3rd-party transportation or dispatch data into Workday Prism.
Strong understanding of payroll tax rules, garnishments, and deductions.
Excellent skills in data modeling, transformation, and visualization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Workday Studio, EIBs, or Payroll Interface Connectors.
Workday certifications in Payroll or Prism are a plus.
Knowledge of compliance regulations such as DOT, FLSA, or state labor laws relevant to driver compensation
