P urpo s e of t he J ob

The Software Developer Analyst will collaborate with project team members and other Information Technology teams. The Analyst will build according to strictly defined and detailed requirements and will not be responsible for defining or identifying those requirements.

The Developer is responsible for building high-quality logical program designs and delivering code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions. This includes analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation, training, and support of business and enterprise software solutions. The Developer Analyst will keep security, resiliency, and optimal application performance top-of-mind for all deployments.

  • Assists in the creation and documentation of Software that they develop.
  • improvement of the enterprise integrations strategy, architecture, and standards.
  • Collaborates with project teams and stakeholders to perform assessments, to gather requirements, define technical and security requirements, perform high-level design for solutions, and estimate effort for completion.
  • Builds, customizes, and supports Enterprise Applications spanning across IT and other business areas, troubleshooting, identifying issues, performing root cause analysis, documenting, and providing the best solution to the problem.
  • Develops appropriate test scenarios and scripts as needed and executes those test scripts.
  • Ensures that security and performance best practices are followed when developing.
  • Assesses the health and performance of applications and software solutions, providing support activities for both production and test environments.
  • Identifies potential process improvement areas and suggests options, and recommends approaches
  • Continuously improves software engineering practices

Kno w le dg e , Skills , a nd A b ili t ie s
  • Must have extensive working technical knowledge with Visual Studio, SQL Developer, Oracle, SQL Server, and SSIS.
  • Must have in-depth understanding of HTML5, and CSS3 required for web-based applications.
  • Must have in-depth understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL, and database triggers.
  • Must have in-depth understanding of Python, .NET 4.5, C#, and VB.
  • Must have strong working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards.
  • Must have excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Must be adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.
  • Must have the ability to conduct research into software issues and products as required.
  • Must have proven strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to evaluate systems and procedures, implementing efficiency enhancements.
  • Must have the ability to understand all business processes within the credit union.
  • Must be detail-oriented and well organized.
  • Must be able to work in a general office environment.
  • Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
  • Should possess a strong commitment to providing excellent service to Truliant's members

  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and stooping required
  • Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time and use a computer
  • Must be able to moderately lift or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds


E du ca t i on a nd B ack ground
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology or a similar discipline preferred
  • 3+ years of experience working on complex IT project(s) involving the implementation of business solutions applying software development life cycles (SDLC) within an organization required
  • 3+ years of experience in database technologies, including experience with Database tuning, monitoring, query optimization, creating and modifying tables, views, and indexes required
    • Must have hands-on experience with Database tuning, monitoring, query optimization, creating and modifying tables, views, and indexes
    • Proficient at writing T-SQL, functions, stored procedures and triggers
  • Experience in using Continuous Integration and Continuous Development Tools and pipeline (e.g., Git, Jenkins) required
  • Experience working with source code control systems (e.g., GIT Lab, Git Hub, and SVN) required .
  • Experience working with defect or incident tracking software required
  • 3+ years of experience in Test automation (Unit Testing/System Testing) of .NET applications and web Services is preferred
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment preferred.
  • Experience in Test automation (Unit Testing/System Testing) (e.g., Postman) is preferred
  • Experience in UX/UI design preferred
