Job Requirement:

The Associate Product Manager in the EP - Digital Banking Services team plays the role of a Product Owner in an agile/SAFE set up and leads a scrum team responsible for the development and deployment of Core Banking Capabilities and/or APIs. The successful individual needs to have deep technical knowledge of API s, including knowledge of the banking domain. Must work well in a dynamic, complex environment and under deadline pressures. Coordinates the efforts of a scrum team within a SAFE train to deploy the new features across markets and products.

The Associate Product Manager has responsibility for working directly with the scrum on prioritized features and creating technical user stories. The Associate Product Manager will report to the Lead Product Manager who owns the prioritization and roadmap.

Responsibilities:

  • Banking Domain knowledge specific to money movement (ACH, Wires, Checks) as well as Banking Role Management
  • Detailed technical knowledge on API s, data flows, looking at payloads, schemas and usability.
  • Ability to document technical user stories and work on prioritizing the engineering work Enabling analytics-driven decision making to evolve products and usage;
  • Takes direction from the Lead PM on prioritization, delivery, stakeholder alignment
  • Brainstorming and negotiating effectively with various stakeholders to continuously define stories priority and existing capabilities reuse.
  • Help your scrum team deliver features by making difficult tradeoffs and removing roadblocks;
  • Assist the business features breakdown into Platform features and stories;
  • Document and maintain Product documentation and flows to have them audit ready.
  • Agile mindset and transformation champion
  • 1 to 3 years in product management and delivery
  • A good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with the ability to document
  • A background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, Scaled Agile Framework and principles;
  • Must know how to write technical features and stories with acceptance criteria;
  • Ability to ask questions, do research on your own time
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment;
  • High degree of organization, individual initiative and personal accountability;
  • An ability to solve complex problems and a highly analytical approach;
  • Comfortable in defining reusable platform capabilities and APIs;
  • A CS degree related to technical field is ideal.
