We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in automated testing to join our client's team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products throughout the entire development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test automation and a deep understanding of QA methodologies.


In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain robust testing frameworks, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality. Your contributions will directly impact the successful delivery of new features and the overall integrity of our software.

responsibilities:


  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for UI, API, and regression testing using industry-standard frameworks and tools.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product teams to define and clarify acceptance criteria and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Investigate and analyze test failures, create detailed defect reports, and work with development teams to drive issues to resolution.
  • Manage and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data to support a well-structured QA process.
  • Champion quality assurance best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Take ownership of feature quality and delivery as a key member of a dedicated Agile team


qualifications:


  • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a dedicated focus on test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation framework Playwright (TypeScript and/or JavaScript).
  • Thorough understanding of QA methodologies and different types of software testing.
  • Proficiency with version control systems (Git), project management software (Jira or similar), and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • A proven ability to apply a product-centric mindset, focusing on delivering user value beyond basic test execution.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to leverage emerging technologies, including AI assistance, to optimize QA processes.
