Job Details

Job Title: QA Automation Engineer -10+ experience
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: Long-term Contract

Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Selenium, and JMeter

  • Proficiency in Java programming for test automation

  • Experience automating testing for complex, integrated applications

  • Solid knowledge of JUnit/TestNG, Gradle, Unix Shell scripting, GIT, and SQL

  • Expertise in REST/SOAP API testing and Web UI automation

  • Experience working with Cucumber, JBehave, Jasmine, or other BDD frameworks

  • Familiarity with JavaScript-based automation solutions

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins

  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Knowledge of Test planning, execution, reporting, and defect tracking tools

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and API applications

  • Build test automation frameworks and maintain test suites

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery across releases

  • Participate in test planning, test case design, and requirements reviews

  • Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines and monitor execution

  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide effective defect reporting

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and QA processes

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience testing cloud-based applications in AWS environments

  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
